Dealing With the Holiday Low Contact Times with Your Affair Partner

When having an affair sucks

Anyone who’s had an affair knows the drill.

Thanksgiving. Christmas. New Year’s. Valentine’s Day. Easter. What have you…it could be any freaking holiday of choice.

Low contact.

“You know I can’t text.”
“Yeah…”
“Family time.”

I have a family, too, dude. I love them (I’m not quite as callous as I make myself out to be). Yet I’d also like to hear from my lover. Is that too much to ask?

Uh-huh.

Being in an affair is work. Family time isn’t an excuse for “I’m-busy-with-my-real-life-and-you-aren’t-that-important-by-the-way.”

Do a bathroom text, guys.

A quick, “I’m thinking of you.” What will it take? All of 30 seconds? To make her feel reassured that you are indeed thinking of her.

“Can’t text now, but I can’t wait until I see you again.”

Men, I can write a script.

Seriously.

You want that hot affair pussy? Earn it. I’m so tired of low-effort affair partners. I get ignored enough at home; I don’t need it in an affair.

Holidays are trying; I get it. It’s complicated family dynamics and needy spouses. It’s no picnic. But neglecting your lover might mean she goes looking. And do you want that?

Lots of fish in the adultery sea.

Do I need to remind you? The odds are stacked against men in this biz.

And remember how hard it was to make a “catch” in the first place? Those endless days of searching. The ghosting and innumerable failed convos. The wretched getting-to-know-you phase that dies before it begins. The scheduling nightmares.

Who wants that again?
I don’t.

Except I also don’t want to be ignored during holidays. But affairing has plenty of drawbacks, and this is one. Low or no communication from your affair partner.

If she is second-guessing if you think of her, you are screwed (not in the way you want, though).
