MAP’s Future Summit is the largest bipartisan convening of young legislators in the US and registration is free for state legislators!
Future Summit is a rewarding opportunity to connect with members of MAP’s State Future Caucus network and other Millennial legislators from across the country. Attendees come to the conference having worked to advance bipartisan policy solutions in their legislatures and could serve as models or inspiration in your state. Build connections in person and learn from the source how you can enact similar strategies in your community.
The conference will feature three policy tracks for attendees to select from: The Future of Work, Brain Drain, or Democracy Reform. These frameworks are key priorities for the Millennials and you can help lead the way on solutions for the next generation. From entrepreneurship and the gig economy, to student debt crisis, modernizing voting, and more — there’s something for everyone.
Throughout Future Summit, you’ll hear from presenters and attendees various strategies for addressing these topics that are future-focused and have bipartisan potential. On Day 2 of programming you’ll also learn how best to move bipartisan legislation through the legislature and begin developing a plan for what solutions to push forward in the 2020 session.
This year’s conference will take place from Friday, August 2 — Sunday, August 4 at Vanderbilt University. Don’t miss out on the great policy programming, professional development, and networking opportunities we have planned — we hope to see you in Nashville!
