Baby Gas and Colic

what.a.nightmare.

She gave us a tiny 0.17oz bottle to try and we took it home clinging to potential hope of a restful night. We gave her 5 drops on a baby spoon (it doesn’t come with a dropper) at around 6:30pm and VOILA! It worked! She did not scream the entire night.

My husband was skeptical and said that there was no way it could’ve worked that fast so we gave it a few nights and he became a firm believer in probiotics! It’s a bit pricey (depending on where you buy it- Walgreens was $30) but it’s definitely worth it to not see your baby scream in pain. I guess our daughter just needed some healthy bacteria in her gut to help her. We also did bicycles and lots of tummy rubs. We continue to give her the 5 drops of probiotic every evening like clockwork. We even have a reminder set on the Alexa in case we forget. I will never forget because those nights of crying inflict a special kind of PTSD for me.

We will be trying this next as it seems a bit more natural with the chamomile. I’ll update this post when we finish the Gerber and try the Culturelle.
