How to Overcome the Worry Wobbles

Are you someone who tends to get anxious and nervy or up-tight just because? Do you want the perfect jelly — — or at least, if you dig deep, do you find that you have a penchant for perfectionism?

Or is it your love of supporting “others” (other people/animals/plants/the environment/technology etc) that can put you into a tizz?

Maybe the external world with its undesirable things has shaken you up?

Here is what I have learned, over 57 years, to stop the worry wobble.

(1) Commit to do what you can to reduce worries to mild annoyances. Once you have mastered this strategy, some of these mild annoyances will disappear altogether.

You will actually learn many things through adopting this strategy.

You will learn to really choose what’s important or significant enough to do something about in the “time” that you have, at the “time” it happens.

You will learn that you have a lot of power over what you can do about many things. This power is YOU being courageous, informed, active, realistic, well-timed and risk-taking…..and filled with FAITH (that the Universe has your back, if you let it).

You will acknowledge that many of your FEARS are false evidence appearing real.

You will learn that if you love yourself enough to empower YOU to just take the next right step, some of your worries will wibble-wobble right off the plate!

(2) Get help. Life wasn’t meant to be lived alone. So do your “homework” and pull a rabbit out of a hat. Surf the internet and make healthy and supportive connections and take other actions, and you will meet up with your tribe. Download and use free resources. Take organised advantage of the gold-mine of information that’s on the world-wide-web. Map out your goals.

Forge friendships and tell your friends your concerns from your heart, and ASK for help. Be brave. Speak your truth to those who can help, and pick your battles. If something is…
