One beautiful poem

botanically, a cut flower
has lived its last

its final contribution
to the living
before the uproot
clip and spray
is to become
a manifestation of
beauty

and it is manifestly
critical that this
final sacrifice
is honoured

this honour
on behalf of beauty
i bestow
upon
you.
