An open letter to my Depression

Dear depression,

Nothing was ever the same ever since I met you. you brake every hope I have for a better life, push away every friend I have and enjoy seeing me sad, alone and hurting.

I don’t know what you gain from hurting people but, I refuse to be your victim and give up on life when I have so much to look forward to. I know life is beautiful and there’s much more to it than what u perceive so, from today,

I choose to have HOPE and believe that all will be well in due time.

I choose to be HAPPY and believe that, even on my sad days, it's not the end of the world, they too will pass.

I choose to show APPRECIATION and accept all the love I receive from those that love me and support me.

And lastly....

I CHOOSE TO BE FREE free from your bondage of hopelessness, sadness, self loathing & worthlessness because life is beautiful and I choose to live a beautiful life without you.
