Buongiorno Primavera

Buongiorno Primavera Fa' la natura pazza d’amore Il vento fertile e insaziabile Incendia in noi i sensi Seppure i corpi sono lontani. Ché l’anima sa fare l’amore Non meno che i sessi.

The Extinguished Mind

Kerosene stuck to the floor. Man-made light now contributes to the night. Your fiery lamp is broken by other’s words. Fallen face-first into self-hatred, soon finds himself awakened in a new world. That once fiery light burned so bright. Made to survive with the reassurance of kindling, ready for flight. Left alone, the broken lamp finds his muse in his head, overgrown with words left for dead. As he stumbles and falls, the traveler laughs at those blind swimming in black tar. Noticing those who acted mighty and tall, now feel the smallest of the small.

Stuck in his trance he picks himself up and rumbles the walls. Hearing the ties between what was terror and a silent metaphor for love. He’s left blind, yet another voiceless victim of mistrust. Persuaded by internal belief, his fire may finally unlock and unleash. Not knowing the double-edged sword release. Mr. Mayhem and the Traveler may finally meet. Cut short, he finds his true enemy hiding in himself all along. His cage rattles within his bones, never quite breaking free from the empty tomb. Leaving the lost traveler with a decomposing home, he realizes his only friend is a clone of stone. He burns bright when it’s time to ignite but in the moment of cheer, he disappears. For he knows the power of a Brutus lurking, loyalties code can be ever so murky. Running from those who think are right, all the while saving his flame for someone worth the fight.

As the wind cries Mary and Brutus sweeps up to suffocate, his fire grows stronger in spite of his uncanny fate. The Traveler lets loose of fear and gives those who doubted him something to hear. As long as his kerosene seeps onto the floor, he has a chance to spread his flame even more. Standing up as winds close in, the wandering fire burns brighter than ever before. Hoping for someone to listen in, he unlocks his mind and lets it roar. He’s not alone but would rather be unknown. His deeds go unnoticed and unforgiven, yet he stands quiet in anonymous strength with the world to roam. A caped crusader for those willing to listen. Your tongue is a sword but most forget that. Your greatest strength is locked in the dark, something some people can never get at. Swimming in circles never questioning the habitat. Your sense of wonder is what most lack.

Curiosity is always the beast of burden for those ignorant to it’s consequences. The Traveler fears his curiosity as he knows of its power and manipulative tendencies. Like the bratty step child always looking for attention, curiosity sometimes takes on too much he can handle. As arrogant curiosity can be there is also much strength that can be gained from the lessons the fool can conjure up. The flame uses this as a tool but can never get too close for his spark may vanquish. Sucked up in a world he was not ready for. He is a broken radio. Sending out endless waves of frequency to learn more from what is around him, all while losing more of himself throughout his travels. The Traveler taps into an unseen force that he doesn’t understand. This scares him as much as it fascinates. Curiosity takes control as they travel further into the void looking for answers they can’t comprehend. Worlds seen in Gaia’s eyes flicker with life, innocent and evil. The Traveler and the flame are locked in the trunk as curiosity drives further in the void of the unknown. The mind of the Traveler is tainted by unbound wisdom and truth that he can not handle. No matter though, he has already unleashed curiosity and all of its rage into a loop of unknown wonders. His mind ravages across the void, seeing everything he should not. He is forever changed from this endless loop of terror, reaped upon the flame and the fragile mind of the Traveler. Once the waves settle and the wind dies down he comes back to the earth to live in fear. All the Traveler sees are the nightmares from a distant memory. Walking through life cursed, and forever baptized in the kerosene lost, as his flame is smothered.
